If you tried to get access and received the following error message "Authorization Failed" read on to find the probable cause.

In almost all cases when subscribers have log in problems, we find it was
a.) because they did not read and follow the instructions, explicitly, see gray box below —
OR
b.) their subscription has expired. [Check expiration date]

IMPORTANT! READ the following

There is a case sensitive rule for user names and passwords. In other words BIG LETTERS, small letters are important to the success of your log in. Sometimes the above is referred to as upper case (AA), lower case (aa) or mixed case (AaBbCc) letters.

EXAMPLES:
YOUR NAME (all caps or upper case 'LARGE LETTERS')

your name (all lower case 'small letters')

Your Name (mixed case 'First letter cap and the rest in small letters')

Be sure your CAPS LOCK is turned OFF.

Your unique User Name and Password must be typed into the log in boxes exactly as shown or access will be denied.

DO NOT put a space in front of or behind the user name or password.

Suggestion: If you are a subscriber, check to see if your subscription may have expired. The numbers in your password should give you a hint.

Due to so many subscribers changing e-mail addresses after signing up for a subscription, we no longer send advance notices of soon to expire subscriptons. It was too time consuming.

If your subscription has expired or you want to subscribe to our Exclusive Services:

to renew or subscribe.

Suggestion: Make sure you are following the instructions you received with your log in information. The log in is case sensitive (AaBbCc) and MUST be typed in just like the instructions state. If your password is AbCd01-02 and you type abcd01-02 in the box, it will not work. Nor will, ABCD01-02 work. Again, it has to be exactly the same as the user name and password we sent to you. Be sure your CAPS LOCK is turned off.

Another possible cause: Configuration problems in your computer or at your service provider. There are times when a name server may be down and other problems too numerous to mention here.

Another possible cause: We goofed! :(

Yes, we sometimes make errors too. It rarely happens with log in data, but sometimes we make an error in our data input, a typo, (spell error) oversight in the log in process, at the server end, or in the log in data we send to our subscriber. Garbage in, garbage out. For that we apologize.

Please understand, we are only human and subject to error like everyone else.

When all else fails, here's another step in the process to see where the problem lies. Go here for instructions.

Lost password? Maybe not...

Check to see if your subscription may have expired. The numbers in your password should give you a hint. For example, if your password contains numbers 51001 those numbers are the expiration date of your subscription. Any password with 51001 in it expired on May 10, 2001, and likewise for passwords with other similar numbers which match corresponding dates. Others may contain a combination of letters and numbers which reference a specific date.

Due to so many subscribers changing e-mail addresses after signing up for a subscription, we no longer send advance notices of soon to expire subscriptons. It was too time consuming.

If your subscription has not expired send e-mail to: lostpassword@CraneAccidents.com

A permanent solution against losing or misplacing passwords: Write your log in/password in a little book, or on a piece of paper and put it in your wallet or purse. Wherever you are you'll have it. Computers do crash, so don't rely on it always being stored on your computer.

Having problems with the site search feature?
Most search problems are caused simple because people do not take the time to read and follow written instructions. The site search is a powerful and very useful tool, but like any tool it MUST be used properly, if you expect to get good results.

Using the word crane or accident in a search is not good. To do successful searches on this site or the Web for that matter, you have to Read, Read, Read and follow instructions explicitly or the results will not be satisfactory. The little boxes below the search box are very important and must be properly checked if you want good results.

A single word search is best. For example, if you want to find Weeks Marine, Inc. a single word search for the word Weeks will yield the best results.

When you are not receiving any e-mail, do the following: Send a test e-mail to yourself. If it bounces back to you that usually means your Reply To: is not configured correctly. Go to your mail application and click on Help to get instructions about configuring your Reply To:

Remember, after making configuration changes, send yourself another test e-mail to see if it comes through.

If you recently sent a request for a subscription and have not heard back from us, we probably didn't receive your request or the contact information you sent may not be correct.

For Example: W. Mulder in Malaysia, your email is bouncing and we don't have a contact phone number for you. Please call us at 941.766.0180

We are VERY conscientious about processing subscription requests expeditiously. Remember, e-mail IS NOT 100 percent reliable, nor are online order forms of the type used on Websites. If you subscribed and haven't heard from us within 24 hours, please contact us. Is your Reply To: configured correctly?

Suggestion: Resubmit your request here, now.

We will not charge you twice if we receive both requests. We always verify to make sure that doesn't happen. In the unlikely event that it happens, we will credit you with the over-charge immediately after it is verified that we did indeed make a mistake.

If you need help that is not covered above, send E-Mail to: Support@CraneAccidents.com
